Choose this 100mm Shepherd Ultima nylon swivel with a tread lock brake for equipment that steers near heat and then has to hold its wheel during use.

The tread lock brake presses a shoe on the nylon wheel to stop it rolling while the swivel still turns for repositioning, so a parked unit stays put. Until then the strong Ultima nylon wheel handles heat across a wide -40 to 250°F range that few plastic wheels reach, resisting chemicals and moisture and wiping clean in warm or wet areas. It mounts on a 2-5/8-inch by 3-3/4-inch plate with a 4.5-inch radius on a plain bearing, and the roughly 4-inch wheel clears thresholds. Being hard it can mark a soft floor. It serves from -40°F to 250°F.
