Add this caster socket to a round tube leg with a 0.872-inch inside diameter so a 7/16-inch grip-ring stem caster can drop straight in, where the tube leg was never built to take a caster.

The socket presses into the tube and gives a sized receiver for the stem of a 7/16-inch grip-ring caster, so an equipment, furniture, or display leg made from round tube rolls without a welded mount. It is sized to a 0.872-inch inside diameter, one step up from the smallest in the RT12x range; the 0.872-inch fit is common on lighter tube frames. Measure the tube before you order, since the socket has to press in snug to carry the load.
