About This Socket - RT126RD
Add this caster socket to a larger round tube leg with a 1.072-inch inside diameter so a 7/16-inch grip-ring stem caster can drop straight in, where the heavier tube has no receiver for a stem.
The socket presses into the tube and gives a sized receiver for the stem of a 7/16-inch grip-ring caster, so a heavier round-tube frame rolls without a welded mount or a new plate. At a 1.072-inch inside diameter it suits the larger tube used on sturdier equipment and rack legs. Measure the tube's inside diameter and match it to the 1.072-inch fit before ordering, since a snug press is what carries the load.
Ideal applications
- Larger round tube legs measuring 1.072 inches inside diameter
- A 7/16-inch grip-ring caster stem seated in a larger socket
- Sturdier equipment and rack legs converted to rolling
If the tube is a touch larger or smaller, see the 1.12-inch RT127RD or the 0.902-inch RT125RD, matched to your tube.
Pairs with: the 7/16-inch grip-ring stem caster that drops into it. See the Shepherd collection.
Wrong fit? A smaller tube or a flat frame? See the 0.872-inch RT123RD and top-plate casters in the Shepherd collection.
Also in this family: the 1.12-inch RT127RD, or the full Shepherd collection.
