Set this 5-inch ductile iron rigid on the back corners of a hot, heavy cart that takes hard hits, where a grey cast iron wheel cracks on the impact and a soft wheel melts near the heat.

Ductile iron is the tougher metal: it flexes and absorbs a shock that would split a brittle grey cast iron wheel, while still carrying a hard, heavy load and holding from -100 to 800°F. The rigid frame tracks dead straight under a tow, and Albion's 110 Series brings fully heat-treated, kingpinless raceways so a bump cannot shear a kingpin. The roller bearing rolls the weight at a slow, heavy pace.
