About This Caster - 110FR05201SL
Choose this 5-inch ductile iron swivel for a hot cart that has to track straight on a long push and still maneuver in tight spots, where a free swivel wanders off the line and fights you up a ramp.
The swivel lock is the difference: it pins the swivel pointing straight so the caster tracks like a rigid on a long haul or a grade, then releases to let the corner steer again in a tight aisle, giving one caster both behaviors. The ductile iron wheel flexes under shock where grey cast iron cracks and holds a hard load to 800°F, and Albion's 110 Series rides fully heat-treated, kingpinless raceways. The roller bearing turns the weight at a slow pace.
