Specify this 4-inch 16 Series swivel for a heavier quiet cart that runs warm and parks at a stop, the rubber-on-aluminum caster whose metal core holds true and whose face brake stops the wheel without scuffing.
A polypropylene-core rubber wheel softens under a heavy warm load and flat-spots against a brake; the 16 Series MG wheel molds the rubber to a solid aluminum core that carries more and stays true to 220°F, and the face brake presses a shoe to the wheel face to hold at a station. The roller bearing carries the load at a walk, the 4-inch diameter keeps the deck low, and the 4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck. USA-made for fast shipping.
