Put this 6-inch polyurethane swivel on the steering corners of a 2,000-pound cart that gets turned hard in tight aisles all shift, where the wheel has to take iron-grade load without scuffing the finished floor every time the operator cuts a corner.

The reason it survives that duty is the kingpinless swivel section. A threaded kingpin is the part that shears or seizes first when a corner cut drives side load through the swivel mid-turn; Albion deletes it and runs the swivel on a heat-treated raceway that carries the side load directly. The green polyurethane wheel is bonded to a cast iron core for the 2,000-pound rating, and the 4-3/8-inch swivel radius keeps the turning circle tight enough for packed aisles.

• Order-pick carts that turn at every bay, 1,200-1,800 lb, epoxy floor, multi-shift
• Line-side material carts, 1,500-2,000 lb, sealed concrete, frequent direction changes

Skip the zinc-plated 370PE if the cart lives in washdown or corrosive splash; the plating will pit. A kingpinless stainless steel caster holds its rating through washdown at a lower load class.
