Choose this 8-inch 62 Series swivel for the front of the biggest hot cart that has to turn under impact, the ductile iron round-tread caster whose forged wheel takes the worst hits while the crowned tread pivots the tallest wheel over bad floor.

The round crowned tread rides on a narrow contact, so even the biggest forge cart breaks into a turn with little effort, and the ductile iron is forged to take a hard hit without cracking the way grey iron does. The wheel rolls through heat to 800°F, the 8-inch diameter bridges scale and broken concrete, and the roller bearing carries the dead weight at a walk. The 6-1/4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck. Industrial-duty.
