Choose this 6-inch 62 Series swivel for the front of a big heavy quiet cart on a finished floor, the mold-on rubber on cast iron caster whose iron core steers the load while the tall rubber tread clears the seam quiet.
A polypropylene-core rubber wheel goes oval under a heavy industrial load and a hard wheel scuffs a clean floor; the 62 Series mold-on rubber tread is bonded to a cast iron core that holds its shape under far more weight, stays quiet and non-marking, and the 6-inch diameter clears a thicker threshold. The roller bearing carries the dead weight at a walk, and the 6-1/4 by 4-1/2 top plate bolts to a flat deck. Industrial-duty.
