About This Wheel - POTH 125/10KA
Pick this 125mm wheel for a frequently moved cart that runs textile or pick floors on a 10mm axle, where fibres would foul a bare bearing.
The synthetic thread guard wraps the axle to keep carpet thread and packing string out of the ball bearing, and the ball bearing keeps the loaded wheel rolling light through repeated picks. The 125mm diameter rolls over seams, and the tread is Blickle's thermoplastic polyurethane at 94 Shore A on a nylon 6 centre, firm and low in rolling resistance, non-marking grey and holding from -4 to 158°F. It rides a 10mm axle.
Ideal applications
- 125mm wheels on a 10mm axle over carpet or pick floors
- 10mm-axle wheels guarded against carpet thread fouling
- Wide firm tread rolling seams on a frequent-pick cart
Where the floor is hard and no guard is needed, the 12mm-bore plain POTH 125/12G drops the guard at a lower cost.
