Choose this 3.5-inch Performa rubber swivel with the 5/8-11 threaded stem for a cart whose legs are tapped for a stem rather than drilled for a plate, the quiet steering caster that screws straight into the socket.
A stem mount is the right pick when a tubular or fabricated leg is bored and tapped for a threaded stud instead of fitted with a flat plate, and the 5/8-11 stem threads in and locks with its jam nut. The soft Grey Performa rubber tread keeps the cart quiet and non-marking, and the ball bearing carries the busy starts and stops of an institutional cart. It is the freewheeling steering version, for the corners that roll and turn on a stem-built frame.
