Choose this 3.5-inch Performa rubber swivel for a busy institutional cart that must roll quiet and gets pushed constantly, the soft non-marking caster on a ball bearing built for the traffic.
The Performa rubber tread runs near-silent and protects finished floors, the reason the 2 Series anchors hospital, school, and food-service fleets. The ball bearing is what suits it to a high-traffic cart: it keeps the wheel rolling smooth through hundreds of starts and stops a day, where a plain bearing would stiffen under that use. The top plate bolts to a flat frame, and at 3.5 inches the caster stays maneuverable in tight aisles. It is the quiet caster for a cart that runs all shift.
