The wheel is Colson HI-TECH polyurethane on a polyolefin core, firm enough to carry a load class above Performa rubber without compression-setting into a flat, and non-marking on a finished floor. The ball bearing is built for the frequent starts and stops of a busy cart, keeping the loaded wheel rolling with a light push. The top plate bolts to a flat frame. It is the step up from rubber when a cart in a hospital, kitchen, or production-support area runs loaded and constant.
