A fine UNF thread has more threads per inch than a coarse UNC stem, so it grips a fine-tapped boss with more contact and is slower to vibrate loose under a running machine, the polyolefin wheel shrugs off washdown where rubber would swell, the Delrin bearing rolls dry with nothing to grease, and the swivel steers the equipment into place. Confirm your boss is 5/8-18 UNF, not a coarse 5/8-11, before you order. It is the fine-thread polyolefin swivel for vibration-prone boss-mounted equipment.
