Pick this 3-inch rubber swivel with the plain bearing for the lightest, simplest quiet cart, where a soft tread keeps things silent and a plain bearing keeps the price and the parts count down.
This is the budget end of the 2 Series quiet line: a soft Grey rubber tread that runs silent and leaves no mark, on the simplest plain bearing, which has nothing to grease and the fewest parts to fail under light duty. The top plate bolts to a flat frame. It suits a light cart that rolls intermittently in a quiet space and does not need the smoother roll of a ball bearing. The trade is a stiffer roll under frequent use than a bearinged caster.
