A pipe-frame leg ends in a male or female pipe thread, not a tapped machine hole, so this stem is cut to thread onto 3/4-inch NPT and seat without an adapter, the 4-inch Performa rubber tread cushions the load and clears thresholds, and the Delrin bearing rolls dry with nothing to grease.
