The swivel lets the operator guide the front of the cart through tight, sanitary spaces, with a 3.375-inch swivel radius to account for, while the Delrin plain bearing keeps both the wheel and swivel grease-free and corrosion-proof in the wet conditions that ruin a packed bearing. The hard white nylon wheel resists chemicals and moisture, holds its shape when wet, and cleans up easily, mounted to a stainless steel frame for corrosion service. Nylon leaves no color mark, yet the tread is hard and unforgiving, transmitting shock and able to scratch a soft floor, and it serves from -20 to 180°F. This is the grease-free steering caster for clean, damp, lightly loaded carts.
