The white nylon wheel is hard, dense, and chemical resistant, it will not absorb water or swell the way some treads do, and it wipes clean for sanitary areas, all on a stainless steel frame that resists corrosion in wet bays. The pedestal precision ball bearing rolls smoothly and suits faster, frequent trips and tow lines. Nylon leaves no color mark, but it is a hard wheel with no give, so it transmits floor shock and its rigid tread can dent or scratch a soft finished floor. It works from -20 to 180°F, a lower ceiling than the hi-temp retort wheels in this family. Rigid means it tracks straight at the rear of the cart.
