Choose this 4-inch Defender D4 rigid when a damp, lighter-duty cart should have neither grease to wash out nor anything to corrode.

The Delrin plain bearing is fully maintenance-free, immune to the moisture and cleaning chemicals that wreck a greased bearing, and quiet under the lighter loads it is meant for. It carries the hard white nylon wheel, which resists chemicals and water, stays dimensionally stable when wet, and wipes down for sanitary use, all on a stainless steel frame for corrosion service. The rigid mount keeps the cart tracking straight at the rear. Nylon leaves no color mark but is a hard, unforgiving tread that can scuff a soft floor and gives no cushioning, and the wheel works from -20 to 180°F. This is the low-upkeep rigid for clean, wet, lightly loaded carts.
