Go with this 4-inch Defender D4 swivel when a quiet cart needs to both steer and carry near the top of the soft-rubber range.

The swivel head steers the front of the cart, with a 3.375-inch swivel radius to allow, while the roller bearing gives that swivel the most load capacity of the three bearings offered, suited to slow, controlled travel. The round-tread Performa rubber wheel swivels easily, rolls quietly, and protects finished floors as Colson's non-marking institutional tread, on a stainless steel frame for wet, corrosive service. Soft rubber still carries less than a hard poly wheel, so this is for noise-sensitive areas that need to maneuver a somewhat heavier cart, not for true heavy haulage. It serves from -45 to 180°F.
