Use this 4-inch Defender D4 swivel on the front of a quiet cart that has to turn easily through a hospital corridor or food-service line.

The swivel head steers the cart around corners and into tight spaces, and the round-tread Performa rubber wheel is ideal for it: the rounded profile swivels with very little effort and rolls quietly while protecting the floor. Performa is Colson's soft, non-marking institutional rubber, on a stainless steel frame for corrosion service in wet, sprayed-down rooms. The pedestal precision ball bearing keeps both the wheel and swivel turning smoothly during frequent, faster trips. Soft rubber carries less than a hard wheel, so the appeal here is a quiet, easy-steering, floor-friendly ride. Allow a 3.375-inch swivel radius at the corners. It serves from -45 to 180°F.
