About This Caster - D4.05108.539 SS WB29
Go with this 5-inch Defender D4 rigid when a chemical-area cart is loaded to its limit and pushed slowly.
This is the highest-capacity 5-inch Maxim build: the roller bearing carries the most weight of the three bearings, suited to slow, sustained pushing, and the glass-fiber-reinforced Maxim wheel matches it while resisting chemicals and moisture. At 5 inches it crosses thresholds more easily than a smaller wheel, on a stainless steel frame for corrosive, sprayed-down bays. Glass-filled nylon is hard with no cushioning and can mark a soft surface, so this is a pure strength-and-capacity caster for hard floors. Rigid means it tracks straight at the rear. It serves from -20 to 180°F.
