This is the top of the nylon line: the 6-inch wheel clears door tracks and floor joints with the least effort, the roller bearing carries the most weight of the three bearings at a slow pace, and the Maxim glass-filled nylon tread takes heavy point loads while resisting chemicals and moisture. The stainless steel frame holds up in corrosive, sprayed-down bays. Glass-filled nylon is hard with no cushioning and can mark a soft surface, so this is a pure capacity-and-clearance caster for hard floors. Rigid means it tracks straight at the rear. It serves from -20 to 180°F.
