About This Caster - D4.06108.531 SS
Choose this 6-inch Defender D4 rigid when a damp chemical-area cart has to clear thresholds and run maintenance-free.
The taller 6-inch wheel rolls over door tracks and floor joints far more easily than a smaller one, and the Maxim glass-filled nylon tread takes heavy point loads while resisting chemicals and moisture without absorbing water. The Delrin plain bearing runs grease-free and corrosion-proof for sprayed-down bays, keeping the working load lighter than the wheel alone could carry. The stainless steel frame handles wet, chemical service. Glass-filled nylon is hard with no cushioning and can scratch a soft floor, so this pairs a tough wheel with low upkeep and easy threshold clearance. Rigid means it tracks straight at the rear. It serves from -20 to 180°F.
