Reach for this 5-inch Defender D4 rigid when a heavier cart must drain static in an ESD-sensitive or flammable area, pushed slowly.
The roller bearing carries the most weight of the three bearings at a slow pace, and the conductive flat-tread Performa wheel carries static charge from the cart through the caster to ground, protecting electronics and reducing spark risk around solvents or dust. The flat profile gives a stable footprint and the soft rubber rolls quietly and stays easy on floors, though the conductive compound can mark a light surface. At 5 inches it clears thresholds more easily than a smaller wheel, on a stainless steel frame for corrosive bays. Rigid means it tracks straight at the rear. It serves from -45 to 180°F.
