Reach for this 5-inch Defender D4 swivel when a heavier cart must steer and drain static in an ESD-sensitive or flammable area, moved slowly.
The swivel head steers the front of the cart, with a 4.125-inch swivel radius to allow, while the roller bearing gives that swivel the highest capacity of the three bearings at a slow pace. The conductive flat-tread Performa wheel carries static charge from the cart down through the caster to ground, protecting electronics and reducing spark risk near solvents or dust. The flat profile gives a stable footprint and the soft rubber rolls quietly and stays easy on floors, though the conductive compound can mark a light surface. The stainless steel frame suits corrosion. It serves from -45 to 180°F.
