About This Caster - D4.05109.459 SS WB29
Pick this 5-inch Defender D4 swivel when a quiet, non-marking cart steers while carrying near the top of the soft-rubber range, moved slowly.
The swivel head steers the front of the cart, with a 4.125-inch swivel radius to allow, while the roller bearing gives that swivel the highest capacity of the three bearings at a slow pace. The grey flat-tread Performa wheel rolls quietly and protects finished floors, its flat profile giving a planted feel. At 5 inches it eases over thresholds better than a smaller wheel, on a stainless steel frame for corrosion. Even with the roller bearing, soft rubber tops out below a hard wheel, so this is for noise-sensitive areas maneuvering a somewhat heavier cart. It serves from -45 to 180°F.
