About This Caster - D4.05108.925 SS
Pick this 5-inch Defender D4 rigid when a wash-down cart needs to protect the floor and carry more than rubber, rolling fast.
The HI-TECH polyurethane wheel is a non-marking tread that takes more load than soft rubber, resists abrasion, and will not flat-spot when parked, staying gentle on finished floors, and the pedestal precision ball bearing keeps it rolling smoothly on faster, frequent trips and tow lines. At 5 inches it clears thresholds more easily than a smaller wheel, on a stainless steel frame for corrosion. Compared with a hard plastic wheel it gives a little under load and rolls with less effort. Rigid means it tracks straight at the rear. It serves from -45 to 180°F.
