About This Caster - SS-05TPX-125-TL-TP01
Reach for this 5-inch Medcaster Stainless Hospital swivel with a total lock brake where a tall patient-care cart clears thresholds, steers, and then has to park dead still.
The total lock brake stops the wheel from turning and locks the swivel from spinning with one pedal, so a loaded cart or bed holds its exact spot during a procedure and will not creep or pivot. The larger 5-inch wheel rolls over elevator gaps and thresholds the 4-inch can catch on, and pushes easier on long runs. The polished stainless steel frame and bearing resist disinfectants and moisture, the grey non-marking rubber wheel stays quiet and streak-free, and the 6-7/16-inch mount height suits taller equipment. Its 4.8594-inch swivel radius reflects the braked head. It serves from -30°F to 180°F.
