About This Caster - AS30T2POD
Put this 3-inch swivel under a budget leg-mount utility cart in a damp or wash-adjacent area, where the wheel needs to shrug off water and the price has to stay low.
The Pemco A-Line POD wheel is polyolefin on a polypropylene core, a hard black tread that will not absorb water or rust, so it keeps rolling in damp and wash-adjacent areas where a metal-core wheel corrodes, and it comes in under the urethane wheels on price. The 1/2-13 threaded stem screws into a leg-frame boss or locknut, and the Delrin plain bearing runs maintenance-free with no grease. The tread holds to 180°F, and the ride is firmer than urethane.

For a quieter, softer non-marking roll on a finished floor, the TPU threaded AS35T1TPU rolls easier where POD rides hard.
