Put this 3.5-inch swivel under an instrument stand with a deep threaded boss that parks at the bench, where a longer stem grabs more thread and a side brake holds it steady.

This A-Line TPU from Pemco is a thermo-urethane tread on a cast iron core, a grey non-marking wheel that carries the 350-lb load class on the iron hub. A side-mounted foot brake locks the wheel with a tap so the stand holds at the bench while the swivel still turns, the longer 1/2-13 by 1-1/2 inch threaded stem grabs more thread in a deep boss, and the taller 3.5-inch wheel clears small thresholds. The precision ball bearing keeps the roll light, and the tread holds to 180°F.
