About This Caster - AS40H1TPUSB

Specify this 4-inch A-line swivel for a bolt-through frame on a finished floor that rolls non-marking and then has to hold its spot.

The hollow kingpin mounts with a single 1/2-inch bolt through the swivel center, and the grey thermo-urethane tread on a cast iron core rolls easy under load and leaves no marks from -45 to 180°F. A side brake adds a lever that presses a shoe on the wheel to stop it rolling while the swivel stays free, and the precision ball bearing keeps the roll smooth. It is the non-marking braked bolt-through corner of the A-line.

• Single-bolt mounts needing a non-marking braked wheel
• Bolt-through wheels braked on the tread, swivel left free

The cast iron core keeps the urethane tread from compressing under a parked load, so the braked corner holds its shape between moves. To lock the swivel as well, the total-lock AS40H1TPUTL pins the head too.
