About This Caster - AS40H1TPU

Pick this 4-inch A-line swivel when a bolt-through frame needs a non-marking wheel that carries more than the hard polyolefin.

The hollow kingpin mounts with a single 1/2-inch bolt through the swivel center into the frame, and the tread is grey thermo-urethane on a cast iron core, a non-marking polyurethane that rolls easier under load because the iron core holds its shape, holding from -45 to 180°F. The precision ball bearing keeps the roll smooth under weight and frequent use. It is the upgraded bolt-through rolling corner of the A-line.

Ideal applications

• Bolt-through frames needing a non-marking finished-floor wheel
• Single-bolt mounts carrying heavier light-to-medium loads
• Bolt-through frames moved often on a smooth ball-bearing roll

The cast iron core under the urethane resists the flat-spotting that sets into a softer wheel left parked under load, so it rolls true after a weekend in storage. For the economical hard wheel at a lower load class, the black POD AS40H1POD drops to a polypropylene core.
