About This Caster - AS40P1TPU
Choose this 4-inch A-line swivel when a flat-framed cart needs a non-marking wheel that carries more than the hard polyolefin and protects a finished floor.
It bolts down through a 2-5/8 by 3-3/4 inch top plate, and the tread is grey thermo-urethane on a cast iron core, a non-marking polyurethane that rolls easier under load because the iron core holds its shape, holding from -45 to 180°F. The precision ball bearing keeps the roll smooth under weight and frequent use. It is the upgraded top-plate rolling corner of the A-line.
Ideal applications
- Flat-framed carts needing a non-marking wheel on finished floors
- Heavier light-to-medium decks that flatten a hard plastic wheel
- Top-plate decks moved often on a light ball-bearing roll
For the economical hard wheel at a lower load class, the black POD top-plate AS40P1POD drops to a polypropylene core.
Pairs with: matching grey TPU top-plate swivels on the other corners of the same frame.
