About This Caster - AS40G1TPU

Pick this 4-inch A-line swivel when a press-in tube leg needs a wheel that carries more than the hard polyolefin and leaves a finished floor unmarked.

The tread is grey thermo-urethane on a cast iron core, a non-marking polyurethane that rolls easier under load than a hard plastic wheel because the iron core holds its shape, and it runs from -45 to 180°F. The precision ball bearing keeps it turning smoothly under weight and through frequent moves, and the 7/16-inch grip-ring stem presses into a round leg by hand. This is the upgraded rolling corner of the A-line.

Ideal applications

• Press-in tube legs needing a non-marking wheel on finished floors
• Heavier light-to-medium loads that flatten a hard plastic wheel
• Frequent moves where a ball bearing keeps the roll light

For the economical hard wheel at a lower load class, the black POD version AS40G1POD drops to a polypropylene core.
