About This Caster - AS40G1POD
Reach for this 4-inch A-line swivel as the economical caster for a round tube leg that takes a press-in stem and a cart that rolls light-to-medium loads.
The 7/16-inch grip-ring stem pushes into a round leg by hand, no threading and no nut, and the wheel is a hard polyolefin on a polypropylene core, a black tread that rolls easy on smooth floors, will not flat-spot in storage, and shrugs off moisture and cleaning from -45 to 180°F. The Delrin plain bearing runs maintenance-free with no grease to attend, which keeps the A-line a low-cost, low-upkeep choice for stockroom and shop carts.

- Economical light-to-medium carts on smooth floors
- Maintenance-free Delrin running with no axle to grease
For a non-marking wheel that rolls easier under load, the grey TPU version AS40G1TPU steps up to a cast iron core.
