About This Caster - AS40G1PODTL

Use this 4-inch A-line swivel on a press-in tube leg where the parked cart cannot be allowed to roll or pivot, and a side brake that leaves the swivel free is not enough.

The total lock pins the wheel and the swivel head together in one pedal action, so a loaded cart cannot creep or swing once it is set, which a wheel-only side brake cannot guarantee. The 7/16-inch grip-ring stem presses into a round leg by hand, the wheel is a hard polyolefin on a polypropylene core that resists moisture from -45 to 180°F, and the Delrin plain bearing runs maintenance-free.

Ideal applications

• Press-in tube legs that must lock against roll and pivot
• Carts parked on a grade where a swivel would swing
• Grip-ring corners on a hard polyolefin total lock
