About This Caster - AS40H1PODTL
Specify this 4-inch A-line swivel for a bolt-through frame where the parked load cannot be allowed to roll or pivot.
The hollow kingpin mounts with a single 1/2-inch bolt through the swivel center, and the total lock pins the wheel and the swivel head together in one pedal action, so a loaded cart can neither creep nor swing once set. The wheel is a hard polyolefin on a polypropylene core that resists moisture from -45 to 180°F, and the Delrin plain bearing runs maintenance-free. It is the total-lock bolt-through corner of the A-line.

- Single-bolt mounts on carts parked on a grade
- Bolt-through corners locking a hard wheel dead-still
The hard polyolefin tread resists the moisture and cleaning chemicals that swell other wheels, so a locked corner stays serviceable in damp areas. If the swivel can stay free while the wheel is stopped, the side-brake AS40H1PODSB costs less.
