About This Caster - AS40G1PODSB

Choose this 4-inch A-line swivel for a press-in tube leg on a cart that rolls and then has to stay put on a sloped or busy floor.

The 7/16-inch grip-ring stem seats into a round leg by hand, and a side brake adds a lever that presses a shoe on the wheel to stop it rolling once the cart is parked. The wheel is a hard polyolefin on a polypropylene core, a black tread that rolls easy and resists moisture from -45 to 180°F, and the Delrin plain bearing runs maintenance-free. It is the economical braked corner of the A-line.

Ideal applications

• Press-in tube legs on carts that park on a grade or in traffic
• Economical braked corners on stockroom and shop carts
• Hard polyolefin tread held still by a side brake, sealed floor

If the corner only rolls, the plain AS40G1POD drops the brake and the cost.
