About This Caster - AS50G1PODTL

Spec this 5-inch A-Line swivel when a stem-socket cart in a wet bay must park dead still and not drift sideways.

The total lock goes a step past a wheel brake: one pedal press stops the wheel from rolling and locks the swivel from turning at the same time, so the cart is fully fixed in place for loading or a procedure rather than able to creep on its swivel. The wheel is the same chemical-proof black polyolefin on a rust-free Delrin bearing, and it mounts on a 7/16-inch grip ring stem. The A-Line is rated to 350 pounds per caster from -45 to 180°F.

Ideal applications

• Stem-socket carts that must park dead still for loading
• Total-lock pedal holding both the wheel and the swivel
• Wet or chemical bays where a polyolefin wheel won't degrade
