About This Caster - ER4X2PHNTBK
Set this 4-inch phenolic rigid on the back corners of a loaded oily-floor cart that has to hold once parked, where a roller bearing carries the weight and the brake locks the corner.
The wheel is hard resin-bonded phenolic from Pemco: it carries a heavy load on a small footprint, rolls with low resistance, and shrugs off oil, grease, and solvent from -45°F to 250°F. The roller bearing carries the weight under the load, the tread-lock brake presses on the wheel to hold the cart still, and the rigid fork keeps the cart tracking straight. The brown phenolic wheel bolts on through a 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate on a low 4-inch deck.
Ideal applications
- Back corners of loaded oily-floor carts, parked and held
- Roller bearing carrying the weight, tread lock to hold
- Hard phenolic wheel inert to oil and solvent at 250°F
