About This Caster - ER8X2PHND
Set this 8-inch phenolic rigid on the back corners of a wash-down cart that crosses dock plates, where the bearing has to run grease-free and the tall wheel bridges the gaps.
The wheel is hard resin-bonded phenolic from Pemco: it carries a heavy load on a small footprint and resists oil, grease, and solvent from -45°F to 250°F. The Delrin plain bearing runs maintenance-free and corrosion-proof, with no grease to wash out, so it suits wash-down lines, and the 8-inch wheel clears dock plates and broken floor. The rigid fork holds the line, and the brown phenolic wheel bolts on through a 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate.
Ideal applications
- Back corners of wash-down carts crossing dock plates
- Delrin bearing grease-free on a tall 8-inch wheel
- 8-inch phenolic bridging gaps on a wet hot floor
