About This Caster - ET8X2PHND

Set this 8-inch total-lock phenolic swivel on the corners of a heavy wash-down cart that crosses dock plates and then has to park dead-still, where the bearing runs grease-free and the total lock pins the cart.

The total lock pins the wheel and the swivel together in one pedal, so the loaded cart cannot roll or pivot once it is set. The wheel is hard resin-bonded phenolic from Pemco, resisting oil, grease, and solvent from -45°F to 250°F. The Delrin plain bearing runs maintenance-free with no grease to wash out, so it suits wash-down lines, the 8-inch wheel bridges dock plates and broken floor, and the brown phenolic wheel bolts on through a 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate.
