About This Caster - ER8X2PHNDTBK

Set this 8-inch phenolic rigid on the back corners of a wash-down cart that crosses dock plates and then has to hold, where a grease-free bearing meets a tread-lock brake on a tall wheel.

The wheel is hard resin-bonded phenolic from Pemco: it carries a heavy load on a small footprint and resists oil, grease, and solvent from -45°F to 250°F. The Delrin plain bearing runs maintenance-free with no grease to wash out, the 8-inch wheel bridges dock plates and broken floor, and the tread-lock brake presses on the wheel to hold the cart still. The rigid fork holds the line, and the brown phenolic wheel bolts on through a 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate.
