About This Caster - ES4X2PHNDTBK

Set this 4-inch phenolic swivel on the steering corners of a wash-down cart that steers grease-free and then has to hold, where a maintenance-free bearing meets a tread-lock brake on a low deck.

The wheel is hard resin-bonded phenolic from Pemco: it carries a heavy load on a small footprint and resists oil, grease, and solvent from -45°F to 250°F. The Delrin plain bearing runs maintenance-free with no grease to wash out, the swivel steers the low 4-inch wheel, and the tread-lock brake presses on the wheel to hold the cart still. The brown phenolic wheel bolts on through a 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate.
