About This Caster - ES4X2TPDB
Set this 4-inch swivel on the steering corners of a hand-pushed quiet-area cart, where a precision ball bearing keeps the cart steering light and the soft tread runs silent and non-marking.
The wheel is Pemco's Thermo-Rubber donut tread on a polypropylene core: a soft grey thermoplastic rubber that rolls quiet, leaves no marks, and cushions floor seams. The precision ball bearing cuts the starting and rolling effort, so a loaded cart steers with one hand even with the higher drag of a soft tread, the swivel turns the low 4-inch wheel, and the 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate bolts to a flat deck.
