About This Caster - ET4X2TPDB

Set this 4-inch total-lock swivel on the corners of a hand-pushed low quiet-area cart that steers light and then has to park dead-still, where a ball bearing eases the steer and the total lock pins it.

The total lock pins the wheel and the swivel together in one pedal, so the loaded cart cannot roll or pivot once it is set. The wheel is Pemco's Thermo-Rubber donut tread on a polypropylene core, a soft grey thermoplastic rubber that rolls quiet, leaves no marks, and cushions floor seams. The precision ball bearing cuts the steer effort so a loaded cart turns with one hand, the low 4-inch deck stays close to the floor, and the 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate bolts to a flat deck.
