About This Caster - ER4X2TPDBTBK
Set this 4-inch rigid on the back corners of a hand-pushed quiet-area cart that rolls light and then has to hold, where a ball bearing eases the push and the brake locks the corner.
The wheel is Pemco's Thermo-Rubber donut tread on a polypropylene core: a soft grey thermoplastic rubber that rolls quiet, leaves no marks, and cushions floor seams. The precision ball bearing cuts the push effort so a loaded cart moves by hand, the tread-lock brake presses on the wheel to hold the cart still, and the rigid fork holds the line on a low 4-inch deck. The tread holds to 180°F.
Ideal applications
- Back corners of hand-pushed quiet-area carts, braked
- Ball bearing for a light push, tread lock to hold
- Cushioned donut tread silent and braked on a finished floor
