About This Caster - ES4X2TPDCAMS
Set this 4-inch swivel on the steering corners of a low quiet-area cart where a firm cam-action lock is wanted over a tread brake, and the soft wheel still has to run silent.
The wheel is Pemco's Thermo-Rubber donut tread on a polypropylene core: a soft grey thermoplastic rubber that rolls quiet, leaves no marks, and cushions floor seams. A cam-action foot brake on a 5-inch pedal locks the wheel with a firm step, the swivel turns the low 4-inch wheel on a roller bearing so the cart steers, and the 4 by 4-1/2 inch top plate bolts to a flat deck.
