About This Caster - ES8X2CIR

Set this 8-inch cast iron swivel on the steering corners of a heavy high-heat cart that has to turn and clear rough ground.

The swivel steers the cart into a tight spot, and at 8 inches, the largest in the E-Line, the cast iron wheel rolls expansion joints and broken concrete a smaller wheel jams on. It holds up from -40 to 600°F for an oven or foundry line where rubber or poly would soften, and carries the most load in the line. The trade is a hard, noisy wheel that damages a soft floor, so it suits bare concrete. It runs on a roller bearing and bolts on a 4 by 4-1/2-inch top plate.

Ideal applications

• Steering corners of heavy 8-inch high-heat carts over rough ground
• Cast iron swivel carrying the most load and rolling to 600°F
• Swivel steering on bare concrete at the largest E-line size
